Product Description: Temperature Transmitter
Protocol: HART
Category: Temperature
Profile: HART EDD Only
More Information: The OPTITEMP TT 50 is a universal, programmable 2-wire head-mounted temperature transmitter with HART® communication. The galvanically isolated device works with RTD elements, thermocouple (TC) elements or other inputs (mV and Ω) in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit. The transmitter offers diagnostic information (open or short circuit monitoring). Its unique "SmartSense" function allows insulation resistance monitoring to prevent measuring errors. The temperature transmitter is also available as intrinsically safe version. It provides a temperature linear current output (4…20 mA/HART®). The OPTITEMP TT 50 provides easy configuration, installation and maintenance using a HART® modem and a PC with the software HartSoft, a handheld communicator or EDD. Product highlights • Completely universal digital device • Utilizes HART® for easy remote configuration and monitoring • High reliability due to 50-point linearisation • Sensor break monitoring and sensor error correction • Isolation resistance monitoring (SmartSense): fail-safe up to 95% relative air humidity • Simple loop checking with calibrated output • Suitable for connection head B or larger • Galvanic isolation: 1500 VAC • Optional rail mounting kit for installation on a DIN rail (in accordance with DIN EN 60715) • Available as intrinsically safe: ATEX (zone 0, 1, 2)

Device Support File Usage

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
