Schneider Electric Pressure Transmitters are intelligent, smart, two-wire
transmitters that provide precise, reliable measurement of absolute,
gauge, or differential pressure. These transmitters are open-loop
measuring devices that convert process pressure to a proportional analog
and/or digital signal. Transmitters can be connected in series to
instruments such as recorders, controllers, and indicators.
In addition to traditional Explosion Proof certifications (ATEX or
IECEx), Schneider Electric Pressure Transmitters with HART communication
protocol are SIL2 certified by TüV laboratory as standard.
Schneider-Electric Pressure Transmitters can be used in SIL 2 safety
functions in 1oo1, single mode or in SIL 3 safety functions in 1oo2, dual
mode. These Pressure Transmitters also contain Time In Service meters for
preventive maintenance.
Where traditional transmitters have a static calibration approach with a
traditional 2-point calibration technology, Schneider- Electric invented
FoxCal dynamic technology including 11 calibration curves in 1
transmitter. The 11 calibration curves are stored permanently in
transmitters firmware and FoxCal technology allows the pressure
transmitter to transition automatically to the best calibration curve
based on the transmitters input. Patented FoxCal technology, embedded
in Advanced and Premium Transmitters, is thus improving reliability,
stability and repeatability of pressure measurement.
These transmitters provide digital precision, stability, and resolution
that ensure top measurement performance. These transmitters are available
in a wide variety of pressure ranges, materials, and mechanical
configurations, including direct and remote-mounted pressure seals.
