Product Description:
Temperature Transmitter
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
The Anderson Digital Temperature Transmitter for the Life Sciences
industry (MTP) is a device designed specifically for hygienic fluid
processing in the pharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries.
The MTP series transmitters offer the ability to configure the device
through an onboard display interface or through the Foundation Fieldbus
network. The MTP series transmitter is available with a large variety of
hygienic process connections finished to 8 microinch Ra (0.2 micron) with
electropolish and is offered with a standard 304 stainless steel
housing. The MTP series is also shipped with material test reports for
all process contact surfaces as well as calibration and surface finish
certificates. The modularity of the MTP platform allows the field repair
and reconfiguration of the device making it extremely flexible during
start-up and commissioning.
Because the signal processing from the RTD and calibration constants are
stored in the sensor portion of the device and communicated digitally to
the transmitter portion the sensor may be changed without re-programming
of constants or re-calibration of the device.
Finally, the transmitter puck can be used with either the MTP sensor or
the sensor portion of the complimentary MPP Modular Pressure Transmitter
sensor.

FieldComm Group (FCG) makes available to its members and to the public certain device driver (DD) files, in various forms, that have passed certain tests conducted by or through FCG. The DD files are, or are created from, submissions to FCG by FCG members and are provided by FCG AS IS. FCG disclaims all liability for the accuracy, suitability or use of the DD files. Each member creating DD files has its own policies regarding supporting use of those files, and may, for instance support use of DD object code files, but not DeviceInfo or other files. While FCG is under no obligation to provide support for use of any DD files, FCG welcomes all inquiries on the subject and will often be able to assist.
