Technically, ControlCare SFC162 comprises a Linking Device with four FF
H1 channels and one Ethernet 100 Mbits/s port with HSE-based protocol. It
also has control capability supporting standard and custom FF Function
Blocks types including Hybrid Function Blocks according to Flexible
Function Block technology.
The ControlCare SFC162 Bridge/Linking Device and its counterpart
ControlCare SFC173 HSE/PROFIBUS DP Gateway are tailored to connect to FF
H1 and PROFIBUS DP/PA fieldbus networks and bridge process and
non-process related data over Ethernet network via HSE open standard.
