TopWorx
Product Name:
TopWorx SCM-FF
Product Description:
Discrete Valve Controller (On/Off)
Profile:
FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information:
TopWorx discrete valve controllers are the industrys first digital
controllers for on/off FF applications. The TopWorx Valvetop products
(DXP / DVC-FF) have Discrete Input (DI) and Discrete Output (DO) blocks,
which are contained within a Foundation Fieldbus sensor/communication
module that is potted and sealed from the environment. Valvetop products
are intrinsically safe and have a unique low power design, consuming only
17mA per device. They are globally certified for use in hazardous
locations and can be used in environments with temperatures as low as
-50° C. Included are device alarms for indication when cycle_time_to open
or cycle time_to_close has been exceeded. The Valvetop DXP / DVC-FF come
complete with position sensors and pilot valve.
Cost Saving Features:
* TopWorx valve controllers require ONLY (1) function block (DO) to
operate, while traditional valve controllers require a minimum of (3)
function blocks to handle two switch inputs and a solenoid output. This
is important because it saves time and money.
* Pre-configured control templates / faceplates are available for
numerous control systems. This reduces configuration costs and
streamlines the installation and commissioning process.
* The Valvetop DXP / DVC-FF allow remote tag i.d. and provide auto
calibration to save time and expense during system start-up.
