Registered Product Information

Manufacturer: Pepperl+Fuchs SE
Product Name: FD0-VC-Ex4.FF
Product Description: Valve Coupler
Profile: FOUNDATION Field Device
More Information: The FD0-VC-Ex4.FF valve coupler is used to connect four, low-power valves with eight discrete input circuits to a fieldbus network. The intrinsically safe valve coupler mounts near the valve in a hazardous location. This unit is bus powered so the supply, data exchange, programming, alarms and sensor feedback occur through the fieldbus. Additional devices and cables are unnecessary. The two limit values are detected by sensors, thus, a valve actuating time can be programmed with alarm states. A counter tracks the number of valve operations for preventative maintenance. Additional diagnostics and operational data are available through the fieldbox for optimum system monitoring and control. PTB certified.
